Thailand Tourism Festival is Thailand’s largest local tourism fair. It takes place at the end of January in Bangkok’s Lumphini Park with five ‘tourism villages’ representing the regions of Thailand.
These regions are;
- Central Region Zone,
- Northern Zone,
- Southern Zone,
- Northeastern (Isan) Zone; North Isan, Central Isan and South Isan,
- Eastern Zone.
The most important part of the fair is the three R; ‘Reduce-Reuse-Recycle’ theme. Admission to Thailand Tourism Festival 2019 is free.
How to get there?
Take MRT Metro and drop off at MRT Lumphini Station, take the Exit 3 or drop off at MRT Si Lom Station and take Exit 1.
Take BTS SkyTrain and drop off at Sala Daeng Station (S2), Exit 4. You walk through MRT Silom subway station to cross Rama IV road. Lumpini Park is about 350 m from Sala Daeng BTS station.
Take a Taxi and come to “Lumpini Park”.
