Ko Lanta

Ko Lanta is an island district in Krabi Province on Thailand’s Andaman coast. It is known for their long, sandy beaches and scuba diving.

The main island is 6 km wide and over 30 km long, located approximately 70 km from Krabi Town. The island has 9 attractive white sandy beaches, splendid scenery; coastlines have more than 70 small islands and plenty with forest, coral reefs and under water life.

The geography of the island is typically mangroves; coral rimmed beaches; and rugged tree covered hills. The landscape is dominated by a series of mountains covered with virgin rainforest. Ko Lanta is a popular tourist destination in Thailand. . It’s known for its coral-fringed beaches, mangroves, limestone outcrops and rainforests.
